Originally numbered 985.227, this plough was built in 1979 on the frames of 52.2374.
52.2374 was one of a batch built by Henschel between January and December 1943. It passed directly to the Austrian state railways and was shedded for a time at Strasshof. It was withdrawn on 25 July 1977.
