Originally numbered 985.205, this snowplough was built in1958 on the frames of 52.1239 and was withdrawn from ÖBB stock sometime after 1995.
52.1239 was built at the Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken - formerly the Cegielski works - in Poznan, between May 1943 and September 1944. It passed directly to the Austrian state railways and was withdrawn on 20 June 1956.
